Registration: A non-refundable registration fee is required yearly at the time of registration. The first registration fee per family is $25.00. Each additional family member is $15.00.
Classroom & Waiting Area Rules: Appropriate dancewear is required for all classes. Students not wearing proper attire will not be permitted to participate. Hair must be pulled up securely. Chewing gum is not allowed. The waiting area must remain quiet during lessons. Please respect the students, our staff, and each other by keeping noise levels to a minimum.
Parents Week: Two sessions each year are designated as Parent’s Viewing Week. This is the time when you are able to watch and see your child’s progress. It is essential to your child’s learning process that all other class time is dedicated to learning with their instructor and fellow classmates. Please see the Dance Unlimited, LLC calendar for Parent’s Viewing Weeks and other important studio dates.
Care & Transportation of Students: Student should arrive 10-15 minutes before their scheduled class time. The school is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Parents with students under the age of five (5) should remain on the premises during classes, if possible. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time before or after class.
Dates & Events: Open communication is a priority to keep all dancers and families informed of dates and events at the school. All dates and events will be listed on our calendar, newsletters, website, Facebook, and sent home via email. It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to inform the school of any address, telephone number, or email change in order to receive updates and information.
Tuition & Fees: Dance Unlimited, LLC accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for all payments. The registration fee and first month’s tuition will be charged to your account upon enrollment. Tuition fees thereafter will be charged on the first of each month. Tuition remains the same whether it is a long or short month. Classes will not be prorated. Any attendance during the month constitutes a full month’s tuition. Monthly tuition is mandatory unless it is prepaid annually or semiannually (per semester). Students will not be allowed in class if tuition payments are delinquent. If you qualify for a multi-class or family discount, our staff will adjust the amount to reflect the discount before your bank account or credit card is charged. You will receive an email confirmation of your discounted tuition amount. Any other discount or coupon must be redeemed in person at the front desk.
Single class tuition rates are listed on the class registration page (link to page). All class prices listed on the class registration are listed as a monthly tuition rate.
- Any 3 classes: $130.00 per month
- Any 4 classes: $165.00 per month
- Each additional class is $35.00 per month
*Multi-class discounts do not apply to 8-week classes or special programs
Withdrawal: There is a TWO (2) MONTH minimum for all lessons. After the two-month minimum has been met, written notification of cancellation is REQUIRED via email or mail, or you will remain responsible for all tuition charges for the remainder of the current dance year/ session. Written notification of cancellation must be received no less than five (5) business days before the next automatic payment date. Tuition payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Special circumstances (medical, relocation, etc.) may qualify for a refund, subject to a $10.00 administrative fee. Dance Unlimited, LLC reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such a case, a refund for any unused lesson months will be granted.
Snow Days: Each class is allowed two (2) snow days. Each additional snow day will have a make-up class as soon as scheduling permits. Snow days will be called by 2:00pm on the particular day and will be announced on the answering machine as well as B98.5, 92 Moose, WCSH Channel 6, and Facebook. Emails will also be sent to all students attending classes on that particular storm/closure day.
Placement: For student safety and enjoyment, dancers are only permitted to register and attend classes at the appropriate level. No student may promote himself or herself to a higher level. The school reserves the right to move a student into a different ability/age level if necessary. The first two (2) weeks of lessons will be used as verification of each student’s proper placement. In the event that the staff feels that any dancer should be moved to a more appropriate age or ability level, we will contact you to discuss the class change. Staff is subject to change without notice. Dance Unlimited, LLC has the right to cancel any class with less than eight (8) students enrolled.
Dance Class Attendance and Lateness: The school reserves the right to have students who come late to the class, sit out of the class. Repeated lateness may result in termination of lessons. A minimum attendance level is required. If a student misses more than four (4) classes without written notices, the school reserves the right to terminate lessons. Students having more than five (5) unexcused absences after March 1st may not be allowed to participate in the year-end dance recital, festivals, or competitions. Each case will be handled on an individual basis.
Costumes & Recital: At the end of each year, students present their work at the annual recital. Tentative recital dates and location are listed in the school calendar. Each class will have their own routine and their own costume. All students are expected to participate. Each registered family will receive two (2) free tickets to the show of their choice. Recital fees, which are set each year and listed on our registration form, include all attire, tights, and accessories required to participate in the year-end production. Recital fees are due in full by December 15th. All accounts must be current and paid in full to receive costume, tickets, and all other end-of-year items.
Media Release: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students for use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional materials that the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs in its name.
